Owner/ Operator - Hooked on Adventures
For the past 8 years, David McCarthy has been a Booking Agent for Peacock Bass Fishing trips in the Amazon. Recently, David made the decision to devote all of his time and resources as a full-time Owner/Operator. Throughout his entire adult life, he has worked in Sales and Customer Service. With many awards, accolades, and recognition in each of these areas, he understands that by providing the ultimate in customer service and satisfaction makes Hooked On Adventures’ operation second to none. David recognizes the value of reputation and “repeat business” and is looking forward to long-standing relationships with his clients throughout the future.
Pamelah Howard
Director of Sales and Marketing
Since 1987, Pamelah Howard has worked in Customer Service and Sales also holding an active Real Estate License in Georgia. Situated at our Georgia location, Pamelah has an extensive background in coordinating “Peacock Bass Fishing Trips of a Lifetime” for customers to the Amazon Basin. Going forward, Pamelah will oversee the booking aspects for David McCarthy’s peacock bass fishing operations. Most of you have worked with Pamelah in the past, and you can continue to depend on receiving excellent customer service from her.

Boat Manager
Tony was born in Guyana, has lived in
Brazil for 22 years, and is married with 3 children. He has worked in
Sportfishing since 2000 and in Tourism since 1999. Tony is English-speaking
and prides himself in providing excellent customer service and is there to
help our customers with anything they need from their arrival to their
departure. His expertise in management, and knowledge of the regions in
which we fish, is a true asset to Hooked On Adventures' anglers, and we are
looking forward to another great season.

Captain
Each Captain of our yachts are hand-chosen according to their knowledge of, and their experience in, the waters in which you are fishing. This ensures that you are in very capable hands and provided the best possible fishing experience one could have on the Amazon.
Chef
Our five-star Chef will prepare delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals for you including daily regional cuisine as well as foods to please the American palate. You can enjoy these scrumptious meals in our private, air-conditioned, dining room where our staff will be at your service as you will most definitely ask for seconds!
Harry
Hospitality
Our English-speaking Boat Manager, along with our highly-requested and famous bartender “Harry”, will be there to meet and greet you with a warm “Welcome” serving regional beverages and hors’ duevres. The moment you arrive, our associated boat staff will assist you in getting you settled in for your week-long stay aboard our nicely-appointed yacht.
Housekeeping
Rest assured – for your convenience, your trip package includes daily laundry and maid service. Therefore, this eliminates the worry of overpacking.

Mechanical
Ian (McGuyver)
is an integral part of our operation. It is imperative that our boats are running at maximum efficiency, and we have Ian to thank for that!
Medical
Our on-board medical assistant, Bathala, will be happy to assist you with any medical needs, or questions, you may have throughout your fishing adventure with us.
Guides
Our hand selected guides are not just employees, but more like family. Many of the guides are, in fact, related, either as brothers or cousins. Our guides were born and raised in the Amazon watershed of Brazil from the various areas you will be fishing during your visit aboard the Santana yacht line. They gleaned their knowledge of this vast watershed by venturing out in dugout canoes when they were barely old enough to hold a paddle! Because of their knowledge of this watershed and their ability to understand changing conditions and fish behavior, they soon were sought after by fishing operators eager to have them teach American anglers about the ways of the Peacock Bass.
