Passport & Visa
Travel requirements made easy
What you need to know before traveling to Brazil
Passport Requirements
All travelers must have a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity beyond the last day of the trip.
*Example:* If your return date is January 1, your passport must be valid through July 1.
If you do not yet have a passport, or yours needs to be renewed, we recommend using a passport expediter for faster service and peace of mind.
Visa Requirements for U.S., Canada, and Australia
Starting from April 10th, 2025, passport holders from Australia, Canada, and the United States will require a visa for entry into Brazil. If you already possess a valid physical visa in your passport for your visit's purpose, you do not need to apply for a new visa.
We still recommend checking for the latest updates from the Brazilian government or contacting your local consulate, especially if your travel plans include other parts of South America.
Traveling from Outside the U.S.?
If you are not a U.S., Canadian, or Australian citizen, you may still need a visa to enter Brazil. Please consult your country's Brazilian consulate or embassy to verify current entry requirements.
